In Mariupol, the man got a life sentence: He strangled her and set stuff on fire to conceal the murder of his friend

In Mariupol (Donetsk region), the court sentenced 32-year-old man to life imprisonment for what he is in the state of alcoholic intoxication, strangled his friend, and then, to hide traces of crime, strangled her neighbor and set fire to things in the apartment. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office in Donetsk region.

“In court it was proved that in July of 2017 male, being in an alcohol intoxication home of his friend, threw round her neck a rope with significant force began to tighten. As a result of mechanical asphyxia woman died,” – wrote in Department.

Then the man, fearing that he would accused of murder, went into the next room where she was sleeping a friend of the deceased and strangled her. Then, to conceal the crime, set fire to things in the apartment and fled.

The court found him guilty of committing crimes under p. 9,13 part 2 of article 115 (premeditated murder), part 2 of article 194 (intentional destruction or damage of property) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

Note that the sentence has not entered force, as time goes on appeal.
