In the Carpathian region is desperately short of judges in the fall of 2016. This was announced by the specialist in media relations Ivano-Frankivsk court of appeal Lyudmila Butuzova-Popovich, the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“In the Carpathian region in local General courts there was a catastrophic situation with the judicial personnel. The shortage of judicial personnel is the biggest problem a common procedure in our area. From September 2016, a large number of judges have exercised their right to resign, having have experience of refereeing. Since that time, no judge was appointed,” said Butusov-Popovich.
According to her, Yaremche district court suffers the most. In particular, earlier it happened that during the year it has not been done justice.
Recall, Yaremche city court stopped to consider the case due to the lack of judges: one ended with a trip to Yaremche, three posts currently vacant. So, the office of the court continues to accept and register statements, statements of claim, the materials of the petition of the police and indictments. However, to transfer these materials to the court is impossible for lack of judges.
In such circumstances, the civil case is stored in the court office prior to the appointment of judges, and criminal proceedings, petition of the investigating authorities and cases on administrative offenses sent to the court of appeal of Ivano-Frankivsk region to address the issue of their consideration in other courts.
