Terminal “In” Boryspil airport, which is allocated specifically for the arrival in Ukraine of Hasidic pilgrims will take the first flight at 9:20 a.m. today, September 5. On it informs TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
All are expected to arrive 10 pilgrims heading to Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. This year the celebration will begin on Sunday 9 September and will continue until Tuesday 11 September.
The guard terminal will be carried out by the staff of the National guard. In the Uman also strengthened security measures, reports the press service of the police in Cherkasy region – on Monday 3 September in the city came a detachment of 600 officers from 12 regions of Ukraine, including field officers, operational officers, cynologists with dogs and vzryvotehniki.
It is noted that last year the celebration arrived in Ukraine about 33 thousand pilgrims.
Recall, every year in Uman is a pilgrimage of Jews who are followers of the Bratslav Hasidism (one of the trends in Hasidic Judaism), on the grave of their spiritual leader Tzadik Nachman.
Traditionally, they come to this city in September, because for them, Uman – one of the most revered shrines, the annual mass pilgrimage site.
