The Starbucks products on the Ukrainian market is rather expensive for the consumer, because of this the company entered the Ukrainian market. This was stated by the head of the office of the National investment Council Julia Koval in the program “Groshi forward!” on the Radio NV.
“Starbucks is more difficult. The media have repeatedly reported about its release on the market, and the mayor about it also spoke, but later in Starbucks reported that it did not come on the market of Ukraine. Today clear terms and vision to market, but if you look at the market of Ukraine, it is clear that for this company it is not big,” said Kovaliv.
Earlier, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko expressed confidence that the coffeehouse chain Starbucks will appear in Ukraine. According to him, it is “only a matter of time.” While Klitschko has said about the arrival of the coffee chain on the Ukrainian market. Subsequently, however, the company has officially denied this information.
