After the opening ceremony on the eve of Independence Day flag of Ukraine on the Dnieper will be visible at any time of day from any point of the city.

Speaking about the symbolic meaning of the new sights of the Dnieper, Reznichenko quoted the President of Ukraine “Petro Poroshenko said very precisely that over the past few years the flag has become for us an integral part of life, a unifying principle. Regardless of ethnic, religious and linguistic identity, under this flag we are all one, the Ukrainian political nation”.

Recall that in 2017 the efforts of Valentin Reznichenko and his team in the river was opened Memory lane – the largest memorial complex in the country, created in memory of those killed during the revolution of Dignity and the war in the Donbass. Also in the river created the country’s first Museum of the ATO, where a unique collection of military equipment, photographs and personal belongings of the victims for the Ukraine heroes.
