SHERBROOKE – The police of Sherbrooke has opened an investigation into the suspicious death of a baby of 3 months.
The child was found unresponsive at around 14 h in a housing of the McGregor street after the mother of the toddler had called 911 in a panic. The arrival of relief, the boy was lifeless, and his death was subsequently determined.
The cause and circumstances of death were not known at the start of the evening. The police of Sherbrooke said in a press release that”no hypothesis is excluded” for the time being.
On site, investigators worked Tuesday to analyze the stage where the drama, as well as meeting witnesses.
“The investigators are waiting for information from the office of the coroner and a pathologist to determine a cause of death,” said the police release.
