Local authorities fear a breach of terms of the nuclear deal.

Tehran reacted rather painfully to the US withdrawal from the nuclear agreements and threatened to renew the program on uranium enrichment, if the terms of the deal are not adhered to. This statement was made by the representative of the Iranian government, Mohammad Bagher Nobakht.

– We will resume enrichment to 20 percent or to any other required country-level, – quotes the words of Nobakht Reuters.

Under the current agreement, Iran is not forbidden to enrich uranium. However, the restrictions amount to 3.67 percent. If Tehran decided to enrich uranium to 20 percent, as stated by Nobakht, it would actually mean a state’s withdrawal from the nuclear agreement.
