Кравчук объяснил, почему на улицах царит разгул криминала

The first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk in the air of the project “a Great interview with a great politician” on TV channel “112 Ukraine” explained why the streets of rampant crime. In particular, he believes that Ukraine is a complicated criminal situation due to the fact that the border with Russia is protected by Ukraine, and insurgents.

“It (the criminal situation in Ukraine – ed.) you can draw any conclusions. One of them is the open border with Russia, the Donbass, the line of demarcation. A huge movement in Ukraine of different people and saboteurs, and spies, and killers who want it. When the border is guarded not by us, and is protected by militants and Russian troops, the border as they want it and use it. This is one of the reasons that can be daring murder. And the Russians, who came to us – to kill. I don’t think it makes the Ukrainians is commandos who are sent to us in order that they carried out the attacks. This could be in other places. But when the state forgives, or the state does not punish, and people who are taken into custody, after a while leave the Ukraine, or released, in Ukraine the impression people that you can do anything. Begins to operate the principle elements – the principle of napravleniya, uncontrolled human actions”, – he said.

According to Kravchuk, the state is not yet ready to deal with the criminal situation in the country.

“If a man with a gun, and has a complex psychological character, he can use weapons. The people who returned from the Donbass, and life there is extremely difficult, they also have certain problems in their psychological condition. They also need to understand. That is the situation in Ukraine is so complex: a criminal, politically that there are factors that come from this situation. To pick up this situation the state can not yet. It refers that somewhere, there is no law, then no. There is a law on anti-corruption agencies, they are created. But I don’t think they are actively quarrelling. We can’t explain many things, and while we can’t explain really to the people and to draw in front of people a real plan and say that tomorrow will be okay, and it will be the same, people will not have trust,” he concluded.

We will remind, earlier the head of the National police of Ukraine Sergey Knyazev has informed that the Russian Federation is arming the militants in Donbass weapons seized in the Ukrainian military units during the annexation of Crimea. Thus the government of the Russian Federation violated a number of international legal treaties, including the Geneva Convention.
