The investigative Committee of Belarus has released the editor of the online publication Tut.by Galina Ulasik. It is reported Tut.by.
“It became known that editor Tut.by Galina Ulasik released after questioning by the Investigative Committee. After three hours of the day, she left the building, IC”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that Ulasik explained what she is accused of, but she gave a subscription about nondisclosure, therefore, the case can not speak.
Ulasik reported that the article on which the detained members of the media, does not imply the placement of people into custody.
“They have the right to detain for three days. The idea is that they should within three days all go,” – said the editor of the publication Tut.by.
Recall that on 7 August the law-enforcers came with a search warrant to the editor Tut.by and the Agency “BelaPAN” and also home to the journalist of the Agency “BelaPAN” Tatiana Korovenkova. The result has been detained the chief editor of the online publication Tut.by Marina Zolotova, editor of the news Tut.by Anna Kaltygina and journalist of the Agency “BelaPAN” Tatiana Korovenkova. Later it became known about detention of four employees Tut.by – Uliana Bobed, Galina Ulasik, Dmitry Bobryk and Anna Ermachenok. Detainees suspected of hacking into the website of state news Agency “BelTA”.
The Council of Europe appealed to the authorities of Belarus with a demand to release journalists. In turn, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Belarus declares that the detention of journalists is not a political matter.
On 8 August it became known that continued searches at journalists – the search in the editorial Tut.by finished, however, the staff Sledkoma came to search in other divisions of the company. Was detained Aleksey Zhukov (who previously worked in the newspaper “Belarusians and market”, chaired the journal “Belarusian agriculture”).
Security forces detained four journalists of the real estate portal Realt.by Igor Khmara, Mary Magpie, Alain Maslovska and editor-in-chief Vladislav Kolackova. They were later released.
