Mutko expressed an opinion on his removal from office

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitali Mutko expressed an opinion on his removal from office by the International Olympic Committee. The official said that his fate is in the sports area is not in the first place.

 

Mutko believes that the greatest problem relates to the attitude of athletes and further restrictions that can come from the state and other agencies. Deputy Prime Minister insists that it is necessary to give a chance to the largest number of athletes sent to the Olympic games, as many were preparing for him one year.

Earlier it became known that Vitaly Mutko suspended for life from the Olympics, and a ban was imposed on the statement of the Russian delegation at the games under their national flag. Such measures taken by the IOC on the occasion of the suspicions “of the state of systematization” of doping by sportsmen.
