The MP Hope Savchenko was registered in the Verkhovna Rada the bill No. 9053, which provides for the appointment of scholarships at the level of the minimum wage. The project does not contain a financial justification and the corresponding paragraph of the explanatory note States that the document will not require additional expenditures from the state budget.
So, the MP proposes in the law “On promoting social formation and development of youth in Ukraine” that the scholarships are set at the level of the minimum wage, and the order determines the overhead Cabinet.
And persons with disabilities and orphans want to provide the right to 150% of such grants and annual assistance in the amount of three scholarships for the purchase of educational materials.
The bill provides free health insurance for students.
Note, now, Nadiya Savchenko is under arrest on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts in the Verkhovna Rada and the government quarter of Kiev.
As reported, in 2018 the smallest scholarship is 490 UAH, and the largest is about 3 thousand UAH.
The minimum wage in Ukraine since January 1 is 3723 hryvnia.
