Allies during the summit in Wales agreed to maintain a constant presence and activity on the eastern border of the Alliance on a rotational basis.
This Friday said Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen organization at a press conference at the NATO Summit in Newport Welsh, reports “Interfax”.
Rasmussen said NATO would “maintain a constant presence and activity in the air, on land and at sea in the eastern part of the alliance.”
The next summit is scheduled for 2016. According to Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, it will be held in Poland.
Recall that after this summit, October 1, the post of NATO Secretary General will take the former Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.
