OSCE Member States today, 18 December, adopted unanimously to extend the mandate of the OSCE observer mission on the Russian checkpoints “Gukovo” and “Donetsk” for three months – until March 23, 2015. This is stated in the press service of the OSCE .
“The mission still consists of 22 civilian observers who are running 24/7 in teams, supplemented by a small logistical and administrative support,” – said in a statement.
Reported that the head of the observer mission Paul Picard will continue to provide regular reports through presided at the meeting of the Permanent Council.
Recall mission OSCE border was originally launched July 29, 2014 3 months by a decision of the OSCE Permanent Council. October 22 OSCE Permanent Council adopted a unanimous decision to extend the mandate of the mission for another month, and November 20 again extended the mission for a month – until 23 December.
