The newly appointed Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced plans to hold early parliamentary elections in the country. On the preparations for the elections, the head of government said during a meeting with the Ministers.
– There are operational challenges that must be addressed quickly. From a political point of view, the priority of our government is to prepare Armenia for the parliamentary elections, but before that you need to achieve serious results, said Pashinyan.
Also in the near future the Prime Minister will present the program of his government. This was reported by Interfax news Agency.
Recall that Nikol Pashinian, who headed the Armenian government after protests that began in April of this year. In addition to voted 59 (at the required 53) National Assembly deputies out of 101 who were present in the hall. Before the vote, the faction “EFC”, ARF “Dashnaktsutiun” and “Bloc, prosperous Armenia” said that they would support noted.
