Elections in ORDA may cause a new wave of sanctions against Russia. This international high-level conference “Lessons of the hybrid of the decade: what you need to know to successfully move forward,” said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The broadcast led to the “112 Ukraine”.

“I expect that the so-called fake elections that Russia decided to hold the November 11, will launch the new sanctions and show that the patience of the West is boundless. Now is the time to speak not about the easing of sanctions against Russia, but their gain. And today’s news from the US is absolutely positive for the entire Euro-Atlantic community”, – said Poroshenko.

Earlier, the militants announced the holding of “elections” on the territory of “DNR” and “LNR” on November 11 2018. The so-called “Donetsk people’s Republic” plans to hold “elections” leader in connection with the death of Alexander Zakharchenko. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the elections in ORDA will have no legal effect and will not be recognized by the international community.

At the same time, the Russian delegation at negotiations of the Trilateral contact group (TAG) in Minsk has officially announced the recognition of the elections in the occupied Donbas.

It was also reported that the U.S. state Department reported to Congress on the failure by Russia of the provisions of us law prohibiting the military use of chemical and biological weapons from 1991. This will entail tougher sanctions.
