The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law about the stimulation of creation and activity of family farming. About it reports a press-service of the President.
The law will give the opportunity to obtain the official status of the farmers who work on their land. This will allow them to legally sell their products, they will get social protection and will be able to receive pension.
“Changes include the classification of single tax payers of the fourth group of physical persons – entrepreneurs, who organized a farm, provided that the aggregate of certain criteria and defining features of their state registration”,- stated in the message.
The document envisages the possibility of establishing family farms without legal entity status on the basis of the agreement/Declaration on the establishment of such farms.
The document includes the establishment of a state aid on payment of a single fee for obligatory state social insurance (10% to 90% of the minimum premium) for each member of the farm within 10 years. Payments will come at the expense of the state budget of Ukraine through the mechanism of payments to the benefit of the insured members of family farming a single fee for obligatory state social insurance.
The document amends the tax code of Ukraine and laws of Ukraine “On the farm”, “On state support of agriculture of Ukraine”, “On collection and accounting of single contribution for obligatory state social insurance”, “On state registration of legal entities, individuals – entrepreneurs and community groups “.
Recall that in June, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law No. 6490 about the stimulation of creation and activity of family farming. The bill was supported by 229 people’s deputies.
