President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law of Ukraine “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in connection with adoption of law of Ukraine “On peculiarities of state policy on ensuring state sovereignty of Ukraine on the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.” About it reports a press-service of the head of state.
The purpose of the document is a settlement of the question of social protection of citizens who will participate in the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, response and containment of Russia’s military aggression in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, and other issues related to the implementation of these measures.
“The implementation of the law allow parties combined forces to obtain the right to use state guarantees provided to participants of the ATO veterans and participants of military actions”, – stated in the message.
The law also envisages amendments to a number of other legal documents.
We will remind, the President is on a working visit today in Avdeevka is a frontline town near the occupied Donetsk.
Also note that the EP has replaced the ATO on 30 April 2018.
