The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Turkey will not remain aloof in matters of the creeping aggression of the Russian Federation in the sea of Azov. “Turkey will not remain aloof in matters of creeping aggression in the sea of Azov. We agreed to coordinate our actions on the issue of violations by the occupation authorities of the Crimea human rights in the territory of autonomy, and we reaffirmed our commitment to work together on solving these issues on a bilateral level, and multilateral – in the framework of international organizations, particularly the UN,” – said Poroshenko.
He also invited the leader of Turkey, Erdogan “to intensify dialogue to support decisions about the deployment of peacekeepers in accordance with the mandate of the UN Security Council”.
“We trust Turkey and we will be happy if Turkey will participate in establishing peace in the Donbass through the placement of its peacekeeping mission in the UN,” – said the head of state.
