Ukraine tomorrow, on 4 November, will open a new Consulate in the Turkish city of Antalya. This was during a joint briefing with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which was broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”, said Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
“Tomorrow we will visit the enterprises of the defense complex. Open the Consulate in Antalya. This will improve consular services for citizens of Ukraine, who came on holiday and who permanently reside in Turkey,” he said.
In this Poroshenko stressed that the prospects for cooperation between Turkey and Ukraine is extremely high. “We need to protect people, and I’m sure the next challenge in this area is the finalization of the bilateral Agreement on social protection between Ukraine and Turkey,” he added.
Earlier it became known that the leaders of the two States signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of development, a joint statement on the results of the 7th meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish strategic Council of high level, which took place on the eve of the briefing and the Memorandum of understanding between the state concern “Ukroboronprom” and the Board of the military-industrial complex of Turkey.
