President of Ukraine Poroshenko eliminated a number of consultative, advisory and other support agencies and institutions established by his predecessors. A decree of 2 September published online head of state, “Interfax-Ukraine”.
According to the document, eliminate Committee on Economic Reforms and the Reform of the police; Coordinating Committee for preparation and holding in Ukraine championship Euro 2015 basketball; Coordination Council for the preparation and celebration of the 20th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. The same decision was taken and on the Intergovernmental Working Group analysis of compliance with the legislation on freedom of expression and protection of journalists; interagency working group to prepare proposals for the improvement of legal regulation in the sphere of combating violations of budget legislation.
Also eliminated Organizing Committee on preparation and the VI Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS; Council of Experts on Ukrainian-Russian relations; Council on exhibition activities; Council of Regions.
The same applies to the working groups on study issues related to the optimization of central bodies of executive power; elaboration of proposals for improving engagement, and monitoring the use of international technical assistance; on the implementation of the Concept of Criminal Justice for Minors in Ukraine; on reforming the criminal justice system.
In addition, the president dissolved the working group on the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation; to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and Poland for the period of Poland’s presidency of the European Union; to create new routes of energy supplies through Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan; on the construction of the memorial to victims of famine in Ukraine; on improving the election legislation.
The decree takes effect from the date of publication.
