Reva: We do not communicate with the Pension Fund annexed Crimea, and we make inquiries in Moscow

Рева: Мы не общаемся с Пенсионным фондом аннексированного Крыма, а делаем запросы в Москву

The Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva in the “Evening Prime” to “112 Ukraine” said Ukraine is in touch with the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation regarding pensions for Ukrainians living in the Crimea.

“We have a multilateral agreement in the CIS on the principles of pension provision. Accordingly, if the formal diplomatic relationship with Russia continues, this deal did not work, so any information that we need from Russia, we get through Moscow”, – said the Minister.

At the same time, the Ministry does not communicate with the bodies of the Pension Fund of the Russian occupation authorities in Crimea. No communication with the Crimea, all the necessary information is obtained after the request of the Ministry in Moscow.

“If the pensioner was captured by bandits and imprisoned in the basement, took the card and get the money. Who do we report it? No. What’s the mechanism to identify these things? Only physical identification”, – said the Minister.
