In November, KIA sold in the Russian market 16 106 vehicles, an increase of 9.9% compared to last year. For the first 11 months of the current year’s sales in Russia increased by 23.7% or to 168 736 cars.
According to “AUTOSTAT” with reference to press center of the Russian office of KIA share of the brand last month increased by 10.7%, while in January-November of 11.8%. The most popular model of the company is still Rio, whose sales in November amounted to 8 180 auto (-2,7%), including 650 new off-road hatchback X-Line. In addition, the KIA Rio has retained its status of best selling car among all brands represented officially in the Russian Federation.
In second place in a modelling number KIA was the Sportage crossover, the owners of which were 2 065 Russians, which is 7.9% less than last year’s result. Closes the “top three” leaders of the Optima 1 319 sold cars, which is 102,6% higher than the figure for November 2016.
Note that of the 11 models available in Russia, nine showed positive dynamics of sales. The largest increase was recorded in Sorento (+232,2%), participating in state programs. In addition, last month managed to achieve a record level crossover KIA Soul (2 267 cars sold).
