Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov is in poor condition, but refused from hospitalization. This was announced by the attorney Sentsov Dmitry Dinze after visiting Sentsov, reports “Gromadske”.
In particular, it strongly decreased hemoglobin, leading to anemia and a very low heart rate – 40 beats per minute.
The lawyer noted that Oleg a bad heart and it twice tried to persuade to go to the hospital. He also became ill due to the fact that in Labytnangi was very warm, and he now has bad heat tolerance. Oleg feels the weakness throughout the body.
On the question of whether there is a possibility that Sentsov will stop the hunger strike, the lawyer said that to stop the hunger strike the political prisoner has no plans.
Sentsov notes that against his transfer to a civil hospital, Labytnangi, as “head of the resuscitation Department, aggressive to him, and most likely only to hurt him.”
He also opposed transfer him to the hospital, “because they simply will not stand to be transported and could die.”
As reported, Sentsov and Kolchenko was detained by Russian law enforcement in Crimea in may 2014. In August 2015 the North Caucasus district military court in Rostov-on-don sentenced. to 20 years and Kolchenko – to 10 years in prison. They are accused of terrorist activities.
