The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov, held in a Russian prison, is under the constant control of physicians. The statement he made on Friday, September 14, during a press conference in Berlin after talks with German foreign Minister Heiko Maas, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“The question of Sentsov… we repeatedly informed the public, including the state of his health. He is under the constant supervision of doctors,” – said Lavrov.
He also said that the issue Sentsov “purely humanitarian” and “legislative procedure in the Russian Federation, which in this case is applicable.”
Earlier in Berlin at the Embassy of Russia held a rally against torture in Russian prisons.
