Sergei Marchenko, who was Deputy Finance Minister, replaced Dmytro Shymkiv to the post of Deputy head of the presidential Administration. This was announced during a joint briefing on Friday.
“I would like to congratulate Sergei Marchenko assignment, continuation of the initiatives launched by the President of Ukraine, to wish developments, interesting results. Sergey has extensive experience in the administration of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers, especially in matters of financing, reform of Finance. I congratulate him on this appointment and look forward to the continuation of the reforms movement that was started,” said Dmytro shymkiv after the announcement of his resignation.
Sergey Marchenko thanked for the appointment.
“Thanks to Dmitry Shimkiva for the words that he said. … I will try to implement those things that he started, and to finish the decisions, which was the beginning. I received an offer from the head of the presidential Administration, which was approved by the President to hold the office of Deputy head of the presidential Administration. I accepted the offer. And at this time, the coming months and years, I plan to work in the presidential Administration, the plan to implement the policy of the President of Ukraine, the reforms of President of Ukraine”, – said Sergey Marchenko.
He noted that he would be responsible for reforms and economic block of administration of the President.
