“The court satisfied the petition of Prosecutor’s office and decided to elect a suspect measure of restraint in form of detention for 60 days – until November 8,” – said Didenko.

This decision was made despite the fact that in the process the parents of affected children said that claims to have no man and are convinced that he shot not on purpose. They all received financial compensation for the treatment of children.

According to Didenko, the suspect also accentuated that the intention to kill the children he never had. He said they were noisy and even spoke to him obscenely. And he just wanted to scare them, so I took an IED and fired at the ground.

Despite this, the Prosecutor demanded to take the man into custody for 2 months without the right of bail. He is suspected of committing crimes under part 2 of article 15 and paragraph 1.2 of part 2 of article 115 of the criminal code “Attempted murder” punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of 7 to 15 years.

We will remind, on September 9 in New Odessa Nikolaev area 68-year-old local resident was shot from a homemade device. As a result of the shot was traumatized 12-year-old boy and two girls aged 9 and 5 years. The attacker was also injured.

The next day the press Secretary of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Nikolaev area Elena Berezhnaya, the TV channel “112 Ukraine” reported that the man shot at children in New Odessa was in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

Later it became known that the parents of affected children have no claims to the attacker.
