Advisor to the President for national security Affairs John Bolton said about the possible participation of American and other foreign energy companies in natural gas production in Ukraine. He said this at a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman in Kiev, August 24, reports DT.ua.
“Also, there are resources that are produced here, in Ukraine, which produces natural gas, as I understand it, approximately sufficient to meet domestic needs of Ukraine’s natural gas. Perhaps American companies and other foreign energy companies will see the attractiveness in the exploration and production of gas in Ukraine,” Bolton said.
According to him, he spent a “very interesting discussion” with its Help in energy matters and the role of Ukraine in this sphere. Bolton also said that “it is a question of policy of the government of Ukraine to look for alternative energy resources to be independent from Russia.”
We will remind, the adviser to the U.S. President for homeland security John Bolton called for the parade to the Independence Day of Ukraine.
