The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine hopes that the case against the Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan will not affect the work of the Ministry of Infrastructure. This is stated in the government statement, published on the official website.
“The Ukrainian government believes that all are equal before law. We expect that the investigation will be objective and no political motives in it. We hope that the actions of law enforcement will not affect the work of the Ministry of infrastructure and not hurt the Minister to continue to discharge their duties,” the statement reads.
It is also noted that there are no violations during the period of stay Omelyana as a Minister during the investigation is not established.

Zhdanov hoped for honesty of investigation that will enable the Minister to refute the charges of NABOO.
“I am convinced that Volodymyr Omelyan does not in any way to evade from a consequence. I hope that the investigation and judicial process will be fair, objectively, without prejudice and political motives, and it will enable Volodymyr Omelyan to refute the accusations in a civilized European and a legal way”, – he said.
