The court upheld the decision of the National Bank of Ukraine on the recognition of “PrivatBank” insolvent. About it reports a press-service of the NBU.
“District administrative court of Kyiv denied the client “PrivatBank” D. Kasianenko the claim to the National Bank, Ministers, the DGF, with the participation of third parties – the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, PrivatBank, the Ministry of justice of Ukraine about cancellation of decisions,” – say representatives of the regulator.
Reportedly, Kasyanenko asked the court in December 2016 and asked to cancel the decision on introduction of “PrivatBank” in the category of insolvent and an interim administration.
“After a thorough investigation of the case the District administrative court of Kyiv rendered a decision in case No. 826/20453/16 who completely dismissed this lawsuit,” – noted in the NBU.
We will remind, in 2016, the government supported the proposal of the National Bank and the financial stability Board on the transition of the PJSC “PrivatBank” in the absolute state property.
On December 19, after the announcement of the nationalization of “PrivatBank”, the Ukrainians removed about 2 billion of cash from ATMs of “PrivatBank”. On 21 December last year “PrivatBank” has passed in state property.
June 23, 2017, the Cabinet decided to capitalize “PrivatBank” on 38.5 billion UAH. The NBU cited the failure of the former owners of “PrivatBank” taken prior to 1 July obligations. In December, “Privat” was capitalized by another 16 billion UAH.
