The football Association of the Czech Republic has reacted to the scandalous statements of the President “Slavia” Yaroslav Tvrdik made after the return match of the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League between Dynamo Kyiv and Prague club. This was reported on the official website of the capital club.
“FACR considers the statement of management FK “Slavija” (Prague), which is directed against UEFA, UEFA and FC “Dynamo” (Kiev), unsportsmanlike, and goes far beyond what is permitted. FACR believes that the statement of FC “Slavia” is made on emotions goes beyond all boundaries and harms the Czech football in General, not only in the eyes of UEFA,” – said in the text published on the official website of the Association.
FACR wish the upcoming matches between teams of the Czech Republic and Ukraine were purely football and sporting character. FACR addresses this wish also to the fans of both teams.
The Czech side (PACR) will not make any further comments on this situation, “because UEFA will surely react to the incident”.
