Eurowings, the airline planned to begin flights on the route Kiev – Berlin, most likely, will not begin flights from “Borispol” in connection with the fact that this is the direction already given to Ryanair. This was stated by General Director of the airport “Borispol” Pavel Ryabikin, reports TSTS.
“Eurowings, I think it will not fly. The direction of Kiev – Berlin, which is expected Eurowings, the German side was given to Ryanair,” stated Ryabikin.
Also Ryabikin announced the advent of “Borispol” two new air carriers in 2018.
“We expect two more (new airline – ed.). When they fly, we will inform separately”, – he noted.
As reported, September 3 at the international airport “Borispol” was launched the first flight of the Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair on the route Kiev (Boryspil) – Berlin (Schoenefeld).
We will remind, on 23 March, the management of the airports of Boryspil and Lviv have signed agreements to start flying with the Irish company Ryanair. It was assumed that the first flights will be made in October this year.
