The materials of the criminal case in respect of Crimea Alexander Kostenko, freed from a Russian prison, and transferred to the investigator of Kyiv Prosecutor for review. This was announced by a spokesman for the Metropolitan police Oksana Blischik the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
The press Secretary also explained that while Kostenko was in prison in Russia, in Ukraine, the investigation against him stopped.
When he arrived in Kiev, it was restored.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian militiamen stopped the investigation released from a Russian prison Ukrainian Alexander Kostenko. The GPU said that the case Kostenko was investigated by the security Service of Ukraine, later it was transferred to the National police, namely Svyatoshinskogo the police Department of the city of Kiev. As reported, the Ukrainian political prisoner from the Crimea Alexander Kostenko was released from Russian penal colony № 5 in the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov region on August 3 in connection with the termination of the sentence. He was accused that during the Euromaidan protests in Kiev in February 2014 he caused injuries to the employee of the Crimean special forces “Berkut”.
On 6 August he arrived in Kiev.
