The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine: Ethnic Hungarians massively leave Transcarpathia

The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin argues that ethnic Hungarians in Transcarpathia are leaving in droves. In the region they have become less per 100 thousand people. The Minister of foreign Affairs this information is confirmed on his Twitter page.

 

Klimkin this situation decided to discuss with the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siarto. Later, he noted that the Ministerial meeting of the OSCE came to an end on a positive note. A conversation with Szijjártó he called “pleasant.”
The Ukrainian Minister stressed that the common goal is still to provide comprehensive assistance to ethnic community of Transcarpathia.

Transcarpathia’s ethnic Hungarians have much less. They are not 150 and not even 100 thousand. An epidemic of people leaving the region. It is our common task with Hungary’s support and various assistance to communities, “said Klimkin.
