The Ministry of regional development, construction and housing and communal services intends to amend the State building code. We are talking about the new requirements to the size of the Windows in the construction of houses depending on svetosimunska features of the regions. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine Lev Partskhaladze on his page in Facebook.
“What is it? Now the territory of Ukraine is divided into only two svetosimunska areas: one area includes Odessa oblast and AR Crimea, in the other the rest of the territory of Ukraine. However, between regions is a significant difference in light climate. For example, the difference in time of sunrise and sunset between Uzhgorod and Kharkov is about two hours. It is quite a big indicator,” he wrote.
The Ministry offered to correct the calculations of natural lighting in buildings. In particular, to clarify the zoning of the territory of Ukraine on the light climate, dividing it into four zones with svetosimunska features.
According to the Deputy Minister, the changes will more accurately calculate the required minimum area of Windows in the premises in different regions of Ukraine, and consequently, to increase insolation and comfort in buildings.
According to the project, the GOS, the territory of Ukraine will be divided into four svetosimunska areas instead of two:
– Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Volyn oblasts;
– Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy region;
– Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Donetsk and Lugansk regions;
– Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Zaporozhye regions and AR Crimea.
Noted that the changes will apply to the design of lighting in residential, civil, industrial buildings and structures on the territories of industrial and agricultural enterprises, outdoor lighting of settlements, including streets, roads, parks and so on.
The GSN project is expected to be approved in the near future.
Recall that in Ukraine from 1 October 2018 will allow the glazing of balconies in the design of new homes. Under the new changes, the glazing of balconies or loggias with a minimum width of 1.2 m is permitted to execute, if the area of glazing is not less than 50% of the area of the exterior walls of the balconies and the Windows have a total width not less than 1.2 m and opens in the direction of the balcony.
