The Ministry of economic development of Ukraine has imposed sanctions against Ukrainian Chemical Products, formerly known as PRJSC “Crimea Titan”. About it reported in a press release of the Ministry published on Friday, September 14.
According to the text published statements in the media began to spread information about the fact that Ukraine did not impose sanctions on the company, which exports titanium ore from Ukraine are smuggled to the occupied Peninsula”, despite the appeal of military prosecutors.
“This information is not true, as the Ministry has repeatedly informed the media representatives”, – stated in a press release.
As stated by the Ministry, the order of the Ministry dated November 13, 2015 PJSC “Ukrainian Chemical Products” for the provision of the state fiscal service of Ukraine was applied the special sanction – the individual mode of licensing of foreign economic activity in breach of the law “On procedure of settlements in foreign currency”.
Also, the Ministry reported that it was a true representation of the Military Prosecutor of the southern region of Ukraine, which proposed to apply another special sanction – a temporary stop of foreign economic activity. However, in re-granting the Prosecutor’s office was not provided with justification for the violation of company law and does not provide specific legislative provisions that have been violated.
“It should be noted that, according to article 1 of the law of Ukraine “On ensuring rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine” temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine is an integral part of the territory of Ukraine, which is subject to the Constitution and laws of Ukraine. In this regard, the Ministry, in accordance with paragraph 15 of article 37 of the law appealed to the Chief military Prosecutor’s office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and security Service of Ukraine with request to work out given the Military Prosecutor of the southern region of Ukraine information and to Express a position regarding this situation and clarify specific provisions of the laws of Ukraine in the sphere of foreign economic activity, which can be the basis for the application of this kind of special sanctions”, – summarized in a press release.
