The national Bank of Ukraine commented on the visit of the IMF mission to Kyiv in September – this step is evidence of improving prospects of provision of financial assistance. This was reported on the website of the NBU.
“The national Bank of Ukraine welcomes the visit of the IMF mission to Kiev, planned for early September, as evidence of the immutability of Ukraine’s course of reforms and the improved prospects for providing the financial support Fund to support macroeconomic stability and open access to the associated official financing from other international partners”, – stated in the message.
NBU Chairman Yakov Smoliy called the arrival of the IMF mission in Kiev step towards reducing the uncertainty concerning the further development of the situation in the Ukrainian economy.
As reported, the IMF mission will visit Kiev from 6 to 19 September.
