Online broadcast led official channel “Rada”.
The bill was submitted to the people’s Deputy from BPP, a representative of the Committee on agrarian policy Peter yurchishin.
“The draft law provides for a comprehensive settlement of all issues related to providing consumers with information about food products. The quantity of subordinate legislation required to implement the new approach to the provision of information to consumers is minimal. The draft law prohibits the use of information which may introduce misleading consumers. The above prohibition applies to the advertising and presentation of food”, – said yurchishin.
According to him, the most important aspect, as regulated by the bill, is the provision of accurate, reliable and understandable citizen information about food products.
The bill provides uniform rules for the operator market by providing consumer information on food products. It is expected that this will provide legal certainty and reduce administrative burden on market operators.
Recall, the deputies supported the document, on the basis of July this year by 226 votes of deputies.
