The GPU confirmed the arrest in Moscow of the former Director of the Zaporozhye titanium-magnesium works of Vladimir Korolkova. This was announced by Deputy Prosecutor General Yevgeniy Yenin, reports “UKRINFORM”.

“Yes, detained,” – said the Deputy attorney General on the question concerning the detention of Korolkova.

According to Enina, now the Prosecutor General’s office is preparing a request for his extradition by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

“Sent a request for establishment and detention, is now preparing a request for extradition,” – said the official.

Earlier, the Russian newspaper Kommersant reported that Moscow at the request of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine detained Vladimir Korolkova – the former Director General of Zaporozhye titanium and magnesium plant.

Korolkov was declared by Ukraine in the international wanted list in 2017 in the framework of a criminal investigation involving the theft of 492 mln UAH, which is approximately 14, 8 million allocated for technical modernization of the enterprise.

Also note that a 51% stake in ztmc is the only producer of titanium sponge in Europe – belongs to the state represented by state property Fund of Ukraine. In 2013 DF Group connected with offshore company Tolexis Trading Limited, which belongs to Dmitry Firtash, acquired a 49% stake in the company with a view to its modernization.
