Actor Dave Batista, who played Drax the Destroyer in “Guardians of the Galaxy”, wants to refuse to work with Disney, says Deadline.
As recognized by Batista during the transfer of “the Show of Jonathan Ross” (The Jonathan Ross Show), he is very dissatisfied with how the Studio has done with James Gunn, referring to the dismissal of the Director.
Also, the actor added that his shooting in the third part of “Guardians of the Galaxy” in question.
“They postponed the film. The production is on pause. I honestly don’t know if I want to work with Disney,” said Batista.
Recall that James Gunn got fired for jokes nearly a decade ago that caused a powerful public resonance: for the Director stood up many industry representatives, including the full main cast of “Guardians of the Galaxy”, but it ultimately didn’t help.
The meeting between the Gunn and the Studio head Alan horn was held professionally and civilly, but horn stayed true to the decision not to restore the Director. Disney and Marvel still refuse to comment on this issue.
Earlier it was reported that work on the third part of the film “Guardians of the Galaxy” is suspended.
