Dozens of flights headed to or in the direction of Quebec and Montreal were cancelled or delayed Wednesday morning, at the Montréal-Trudeau airport and Jean-Lesage airport because of the storm that struck Quebec.

Gone for 18 h, several arrivals and departures were still delayed on the side of the airport Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau airport. A dozen departures and fifteen arrivals, including lines linking Montreal to Toronto and eastern Canada, were even cancelled

The scenario was similar on the side of Quebec, where the majority of departures and arrivals were delayed or cancelled, particularly for flights to the east of the province and the country in turn under the blow of the storm.

To avoid unpleasant surprises, the travellers were invited by the managers of the two airports to check the schedule of their flight on the internet or even with their air carrier and to plan our travel.

“Notice that our teams are working hard to minimize the impact of weather on operations”, had assured Montreal Airport on his Twitter account.
