The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Sweden Margot wallström has called on Russia to release Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov. About it wahlström wrote on his Twitter page.
“His detention violates international law and is based on a legal process that does not meet basic standards of justice. We call on Russia to release him (Sentsova) and other illegally detained Ukrainian citizens,” wrote wallström.
Earlier, the lawyer of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov Dmitry Dinze said that his client’s third protracted crisis.
On the eve of Sentsov wrote his sister that “the end is nigh, and this is not about liberation”. He barely gets out of bed. After that, the Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said that Ukraine is ready to discuss any conditions of the exchange Sentsov.
On may 14 of this year, Oleg Sentsov was on a hunger strike to demand the release of all Ukrainian political prisoners, who are in Russian prisons. Today, August 9, continues the 88th day of his hunger strike.
Note that the first crisis happened on 26th day of hunger strike at Sentsov. He was taken to a hospital outside the colony and tried to force feed, but he refused. After that, he returned to the infirmary of the colony together with apparatus for force-feeding.
July 19-the lawyer Sentsov Dmitry Dinze said that the condition of his client had deteriorated significantly – he had a second crisis, but from the hospital, he still refuses. Instead Sentsov has agreed to accept under medical supervision for two scoops of formula per day.
