Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent Ukrainians and President Peter Poroshenko, congratulations on the 27th anniversary of Independence. About it reports a press-service of the Ukrainian President.
“Our relationship with a strategic partner Ukraine is strengthened in each sector, a long-standing friendship between our people is deepening with each passing day. We are very pleased to observe the mutual will which we are to bring our cooperation to an even higher level”, – stated in the text of the message.
“Turkey will continue to support the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine”, – stressed Erdogan. He also invited Poroshenko to visit Turkey and participate in the meeting of the Strategic Council which will be held in the fall.
The Ukrainian people, Erdogan wished prosperity and well-being.
Previously Ukrainians have already congratulated the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who expressed support in overcoming the political, economic and social challenges.
The President of the United States Donald trump also sent a message of congratulations to President Petro Poroshenko, noting that the United States will always support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Before that, the President of France Emmanuel Makron congratulated Poroshenko and Ukrainians on Independence Day. He noted that France remains near Ukraine to find a sustainable solution to the conflict in the Donbas.
Pope Francis wished Ukrainians blessings, particularly citizens in the East of Ukraine.
