In the current year in Ukraine recorded the lowest number of high school graduates in the history of Ukraine. About this stated the Minister of education and science, Liliya Hrynevych, transfers “5 channel”.

According to her, this year, 59.2% of students in higher education (almost 35 thousand students) received recommendations on the budget for the first priority, and 16.4 per cent (9.6 per thousand) – the second priority.

In addition, according to the results of entrance examinations this year enrolled more than 2.1 thousands of graduates, and 45 – according to the interview results. In total approximately 4.3% of the total number of graduates, who enrolled on a budget.

As told by Liliya Hrynevych, the introductory campaign for the residents of the occupied Crimea and Donbas today is not yet complete. Safety reasons the number of entrants from the occupied territories currently not disclosed, the report said.

The Ministry informed that at Kiev UNIVERSITIES dedicated to 27.7% of the state order for the Kharkiv region is 12.5%, Lviv — 11,2%, Dnipropetrovsk — 6,2%, Odessa is 5.1%.

In the Ministry of education argued that raising the minimum threshold of 150 points for applicants at medical schools is a positive step. Minimum passing score on the specialty “Journalism” this year was 186 points (last year this figure was, on average, at the level of 154 points).
