UEFA began disciplinary proceedings on the fact of violations during a match of League of Nations Ukraine – Czech Republic. About it reports a press-service of the organization.
It is specified that sanctions threaten both Ukrainian and Czech football federations.
In particular, the Czech side is accused of delay in the start of the match – the start of the game was postponed for 15 minutes due to issues with lighting at the stadium, the lack of stewards in the stands and that the exits were not blocked. A separate topic for consideration will be wibehouse on the field fans.
The Ukrainian side, in turn, impose the use of pyrotechnics, throwing in a box of foreign objects and damage to the owners of the match. Also noted and fans from Ukraine, who ran on the field.
The case will be considered on September 27.
We will remind, the Ukrainian national team played the first match of the League of Nations qualifier against the Czech Republic. Ukrainians played in a new form with the inscription “Glory to Ukraine!”. President Petro Poroshenko said that the phrase on the form will be the symbol of victory. And it did, after all, the Ukrainians pulled out a clear victory with the score 2:1.
After that, a few fans enjoying the victory of the team, came outside the fence at the stadium. They were detained by militiamen.
