Ukrainian government initiates sanctions against 172 citizens of Russia and other countries. This Friday at a press conference in the Government Prime Minister Yatsenyuk.
He said the persons involved in the list were people who “finance terrorism, supported the annexation of the Crimea and encroached on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
In addition, the Premier said that the Cabinet submits to parliament a draft law on the possibility of introducing sanctions against 26 types of businesses and individuals.
Ukraine also has to impose sanctions to prevent the modernization of the armed forces.
According to Yatsenyuk, according to the bill, the decision about who is subject to the sanctions taken by the Council of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on the proposal of the government. List of individuals prepared by the Cabinet, the National Security Council has already passed.
Prime Minister expressed hope that the Council adopt this law August 12.
