Since the inception of the initiative “Ukraine without smuggling” (June 21) to the state budget received 37.5 billion UAH of customs duties. About this on his page in Facebook wrote acting Chairman of the State fiscal service (GFS) Miroslav Sold.
“Since the launch of the initiative “Ukraine without smuggling” from 21 June to 30 July, the state Treasury received 37.5 billion UAH of customs duties. Actual revenues for the same period last year grew by nearly 6 billion UAH”, – he wrote.
According to him, the state budget for July received more than 29.7 billion UAH 3.7 billion UAH more in comparison with July of last year. In June, the figures increased almost by 3.2 billion UAH, and average daily receipts from customs have exceeded 1.4 billion.
Plus customs is equivalent to the annual demand of the capital on financing of privileges and subsidies of the population in the housing sector. And this is the result of only one month. But the increase in income is not the only result of the struggle with the shadow. Due to the reduction of “gray” goods flows increase market share, which is the legal importers. Blocking the way of illegal imports, we create the conditions for investment in the development of Ukrainian production”, – said Sold.
Recall that on 20 June 2018 at the meeting, the Cabinet approved the action plan on fight against smuggling. The Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman called 10 the schemes of smugglers.
In addition, entered into force a government decree, according to which expanded police powers in matters of control over customs.
