Two Ukrainians injured in the collapse of a bridge in Genoa, are in satisfactory condition. This was announced by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Italy Yevhen Perelygin, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
He also stressed that the victims immediately went to the Consul, who contacted their families and they were able to come to Genoa the next day.
“The clinic sent to the Embassy information, confirming that these citizens are under full control and will be given the necessary medical assistance. It is known that their health is more or less normal, but privacy will not allow me to say more,” – said the Ambassador.
We will remind, on August 14 in the Italian city of Genoa the bridge collapsed, the latest data showed 42 dead. It was initially reported that the cause of the collapse could be a weakening of the supporting structures. Later, the Prosecutor Francesco Gozzi stated that the cause of the tragedy was human error.
