According to him, from January 1, 2018, entered into force amendments to the Customs code, which greatly restrict the duty-free import of goods across the border. The law changed the maximum amount that one person can import goods from Poland to Ukraine duty-free. If earlier it was possible to bring goods worth up to 500 euros, now it is possible only at observance of two conditions at once: if a person was absent in Ukraine for longer than 24 hours; if the person does not cross the Ukrainian border more than once in the last 72 hours.
– Management of Lviv customs office of the SFS requests that citizens who plan to travel abroad, consider this information and choose to move the other border crossing points in particular: “Krakovets – korcheva”, “Pears – Budomezh”, “Ugrin – Dolgobychuv”, “Selnica – Krościenko”. At the same time reminds that blocking roads is unacceptable and calls to refrain from illegal actions, – said the customs officers.
