Concern “Ukroboronprom” and the state Agency for the defense industry of Turkey on Saturday, 3 October, signed a Memorandum of cooperation. The corresponding agreement was signed today during a meeting of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“… Signed a Memorandum between the “Ukroboronprom” and the state Agency on issues of defense industry of the Turkish Republic, which defines the conditions of implementation of contractual obligations between the “Ukroboronprom” and the state Committee on defense industry of Turkey, in particular in the context of the regulation of the procedure of obtaining Bank guarantees required for the implementation of projects in the sphere of defense industry”, – stated in the message.
As reported, today President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a private meeting, and after it was held the VII meeting of strategic cooperation Council high-level Turkey – Ukraine under the leadership of the two leaders.
Earlier, Poroshenko stressed that Ukraine and Turkey agreed to continue the coordination work for the liberation of Ukrainian political prisoners. It also became known that the leaders of the two States signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of development.
