Vladimir Putin congratulated Finland on independence Day

Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of congratulation speech of the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö. Congratulation connected with Day of independence of the Scandinavian countries.

 

This year the Republic of Finland celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of independence. The President of Russia congratulated on this outstanding occasion the head of state. In his telegram Putin noted that the two countries are really good and friendly relations.

Also the head of the Russian Federation drew attention to the value of the productive development of relations between Russia and Finland in various fields, implementation of joint projects and consistency in dealing with international issues. Did not remain without attention and the expansion of contacts between government departments, regions and cities.

Vladimir Putin expressed his confidence in the subsequent increase of fruitful bilateral cooperation in the interests of the peoples of Russia and Finland.
